Ethical Citizens for Minnesota's Future
Phase II: From Vision to Action
Phase II of the statewide Ethical Citizens for Minnesota's Future initiative began on June 22, 2010 as members of the four task forces (Statewide Conversation, Educational Leadership, Community Partnerships, and Families) met to begin discussing strategies to move the vision and objectives generated at the December 2009 forum forward to action. Whitney MacMillan, one of the originators of the initiative provided a brief overview and addressed the power of collaboration, and Chuck Denny, Jr., former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ADC Telecommunications, spoke of each attendee's responsibility to model ethical behavior.
Wanda Sommers Wall, Director of Synergy, provided guidance for the initial discussion and the task force members began their work. The day concluded with the identification of next steps and information about what the task force members could expect from Synergy as the work moved forward.
